We get kids moving—and smiling. By blending fitness and fun, we help kids find a love of movement and develop the confidence that comes from learning new things, growing stronger and supporting peers in a friendly, inclusive environment.
The skills developed in this program can be applied in any sport-specific training, and young athletes with CrossFit training generally find success in sports much sooner due to improved strength, conditioning, balance, coordination, agility and coachability. Kids who don’t pursue other sports often fall in love with CrossFit training and the gym, and the skills they develop in this program will help them stay healthy for life. This program is perfect for any child—athletes or kids who just love to move and have fun.
Each one-hour session is led by our qualified coach, and we focus on general fitness and health, long-term athletic development, and skill acquisition. Young children need to learn how to move, so we build their general physical preparedness while developing a lifelong love of movement through fun and games. Workouts and games are tailored to each age group. For example, the younger kids play more fitness games, while teens focus more on learning new movements.
Our overall goal is to produce fit, healthy children who continue to prioritize fitness and activity as adults.
Our next 8-week block starts March 11 and runs to May 3.
Cost per child: $192 (GST inc.)
Ages 6-9: Mondays at 6 p.m.
Ages 10-13: Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Ages 14-17: Fridays at 6 p.m.
